Brief Background: I am a successful small business owner who began to pay closer attention to the world after his two kids were born (12/2005 and 11/2007).  My world view evolved from confusion to common-sense advocate to frustration to seeker of truth and ultimately to a mindset that, while existing control systems are holding us back as a society... that an awakening is occurring that is ushering in the Next Renaissance.

My path took me through the 2008 primaries and elections... FairTax evangelism, an organizer of/speaker at the South Bay Tax Day Tea Party, and involved with various other clubs and organizations that oppose tyranny.  

At present time, I see many advancements that have been suppressed over the years that are ready to break through.

Overview of portal platforms our user groups now have at their disposal (DNN, OnTime2008, and MOSS)...  Time to get organized!

We just had a great meeting... 

Okay, so I did a little work on the SoCal Tech Events site today.  Basically spent a little time and tried to come up with a decent temporary banner image using the current banner.  It's not revolutionary, but it's something that can fill the space until we get a real designer to come up with a new banner for the site.

I also spent a little time with the backend setup of the portals.  Trying to smooth things out and make sure all the caching settings are optimal.  I think the site has been performing really well lately, but I am not sure if it's because I've been hitting it so often.

Anyway...gotta run...off to work...

Back on the site and working on the backend.  I finally got around to creating administrative accounts for the SCDN web team. 

Going to spend some time configuring the various portals on this site and see how things go.  If I'm lucky I can get all the basics done and spend a little time making things look a little nicer...stay tuned...

Okay, phase two of the initial setup of this portal is done.  I've gone through and created some host user accounts for the rest of the website administration team.  I also spent a little time fiddling with this blog module to get a handle on how best to lay out all of the components. 

Everything seems to be going smoothly....so far...

 So, I finally got around to setting up this site.  This is just the beginning.
